  5.     Usually he's stalking the elusive treaty. But on one of his
  6. diplomatic trips this summer, Secretary of State James Baker
  7. will be going after the real thing: big game.

  9.     The objects of his hunterly interest are in Mongolia, where
  10. Baker plans to spend five days in early August. With a visit
  11. to Ulan Bator during a swing through Asia, he will acknowledge
  12. the political changes in this remote Stalinist outpost, where
  13. the Communist Party recently relinquished its monopoly on power
  14. and agreed to hold free elections. That done, outdoorsman Baker
  15. plans to head for the hills to enjoy a little hunting.
  16. Mongolia's fauna include the spiral-horned Altai Argali wild
  17. sheep, the ibex and the black-tailed gazelle, and Baker is
  18. known to be especially enthusiastic about this mission.
